Cartersart represents a number of printers from around the Midwest. We have sought out the best in offset lithography, web offset printing, flexographic label printing and large format digital printing for exhibits and displays. We have developed reprint programs that will save money without sacrificing print quality.

My background has been equally divided between graphic design and illustration.
I have served as production artist, illustrator, art director and creative director for corporations as well as agencies.
A good deal of my career was spent working for advertising agencies and design studios in Chicago.
Most of my design work has been used for corporate communications, corporate identity, national advertising and
package design. I have also provided exhibit design to a variety of clients.
Illustrations I have produced are used for a wide variety of applications. Working with computers in both vector and
raster environments, airbrushes, and pastels, I produce technical, medical and narrative Illustrations.
Having studied fine art for most of my life, I am quite comfortable with acrylics, watercolors and pastels.

One year project serving as the advertising and creative director responsible for producing a new national ad campaign and 100 page catalog/design guide. Other duties included dealer promotional materials, architectural illustration, exhibit work, outdoor signage and web art. While at Holland log homes I provided communication arts to affiliated companies.

Served as creative director managing an in-house advertising and design group. I handled most all client contact for this department (sales and customer service). Responsibilities included design, Illustration, copywriting, management and account executive duties forHolland Litho clients.

Art director, designer and illustrator for a large variety of clients in the West Michigan area. Included in this client group
were Nordstrom/Cox Mkt., Beardsley & Co., Valentine-Bear-Woodruff & Filery, Village Graphics, and Ralph Kaufman Artists. Most of my work was supplied by Howard Miller Clock Co. and Herman Miller Incorporated. During this period I provided exhibit designs to The Derse Company (Custom Exhibits), for Eaton, 3m Surgical, Roundy’s Foods and others.
